Create a unique baby shower invitation that reflects your personal taste, but still honors the tradition of welcoming a new baby into the world.

Formal Invitations

Paper invitations for a baby shower don't have to look like they came from a bin of baby shower goodies. You can create an elegant invitation for your shower by using some nice paper and a calligraphy pen. A visit to any craft or art supply store will give you many ideas in this area for your unique baby shower invitation. You don't have to use traditional items like lace, ribbon, or glitter to enhance your invitations. Try a heavyweight imported decorative paper, like papyrus, instead.

Some of the services will allow you to send out your invitation through their site, and will also allow people to RSVP directly online. This can make managing your guest list incredibly easy, and leave your more energy to focus on the shower itself.

Your unique baby shower invitation should be a representation of you. Don't be afraid to try new colors, materials, even mediums. Even if you don't end up sending a traditional invitation through the mail, you can print out a copy of your electronic invitation to include in your baby's memory book.
